The song tells about social anxieties and self-monitoring in social interactions, so about constantly watching and monitoring yourself when you're with someone and questioning whether you're interesting enough, if maybe you were looking really weird just now, if you were giving too much eye contact or not enough etc.
So much, that you spiral into your head and cannot even really be in the moment with the person anymore. The song is about realising the irony that actually the more you let go of these constant thoughts and mean talking to yourself, the more chilled you will be. It's about letting go and not taking these voices too seriously anymore and maybe even getting a little sassy about it – "now i let you go and without you turns out I'm hell smooth yea". It's the third single to be released by the newcomer artist Teeya Lamée from Germany.
